Yoram Zadok

Born: April 16th, 1957, Haifa (Israel)
Nationality: Israeli

Yoram Zadok studied composition. During his army service, he sang and played the guitar in an entertainment group. He composed and arranged for many Israeli pop acts and specialized in writing children’s songs. As a musical director, he worked for Israeli radio and made a world tour with vocal group ‘Dor L’Dor’ in 1995, composing much of its repertoire (e.g. ‘Underneath the stars’, ‘Milk and honey’).

Yoram Zadok composed, arranged, and conducted the 1986 Israeli entry ‘Yavoh yom’, performed by Sarai Tzuriel and the song’s lyricist, Moti Giladi. This effort finished second-last, one of the least successful attempts of Israel in the contest.

In due course, a more extensive biography of Yoram Zadok will be published on this website
