Biography David Sprinfield arranged and conducted the 1981 French Eurovision entry ‘Humanahum’ (composed by Jean-Paul Cara with lyrics by Joe Gracy, the team of songwriters which was also behind ‘L’oiseau et l’enfant’, which won the contest in 1977), performed by Jean Gabilou, who came third – only eleven points behind the eventual winners from the United Kingdom.
